About Quality Projects

Quality Projects was founded in 2001 by Matthew Weaver in Portland, Oregon.  The company relocated to Texas in 2002, then to New York in 2005, and Virginia in August 2010.  Quality Projects is a privately held Limited Liability Corporation organized in New York and pending in Virginia.  It is a veteran-owned small business.

Matthew founded Quality Projects on the principle that successful projects don’t happen by chance.  Our goal is to help you complete your projects successfully by delivering quality services to you with a simple and direct philosophy and ethic:

  1. Say what we do, do what we say, and prove it.

  2. Be honest, respectful, and diligent.

We apply leading industry best practices and sustain a strong commitment to quality through implementation of ISO-9001 and CMMI.  We also apply basic project management principles as organized by PMI’s Project Management Body of Knowledge.  The bottom line is that we:

  1. Are deliberate in our approach;

  2. Apply measurable structure and milestones;

  3. Continually evaluate, adjust, and improve upon every aspect of our work

Our quality objectives are:

  • Maintain a formal quality system meeting basic ISO-9001 requirements.

  • Promote an atmosphere of continuous process improvement and problem prevention.

  • Empower employees to help improve the systems that affect their work.

  • Provide education and training to all employees to support their health, welfare, and safety.

  • Communicate our quality objectives to all employees.

Sustaining company policies and practices include:

  • Buy American, hire American. We give preference to American-made products and only hire U.S. citizens and other individuals legally authorized to work in the U.S. The company does not hire or use H1B workers, nor does it contract work offshore.

  • Quality Projects is committed in its contracting and employment to recruit, employ, train, compensate, and promote without regard to race, color, age, sex, ancestry, marital status, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, or any other classification protected by state or federal law.

  • All client work is prefaced with a written contact, statement of work, and other documents as may be necessary to ensure mutual understanding and agreement about the work to be done and terms and conditions that apply.

  • Quality Projects plans and executes all projects and client work using industry best practices to achieve success within budget and on time. Please click Best Practices for more information.
